Ever since we moved into our new place I have been on the search for the perfect crockery hutch/cupboard. Currently all my food styling bits and pieces and special crockery sit in a large cardboard box on the floor and I'm very eager to give them a home, but boy am I struggling to find the right one. Admittedly I'm pretty picky and very particular with what I'm looking for which doesn't help the situation. Hopefully soon the search will be over. On a positive it's helping me save money by not buying new crockery!
You're checked out Blake & Taylor for this, haven't you? They have a few cupboards in that sort of style. Pretty pricey though..
ReplyDeleteYeah I've been there a few times looking but haven't quite found the right one. Like I said, picky!
ReplyDeleteChantelle I could find you one similar down the street at a beautiful Antique store!! Guess that doesn't help you though. I once saw a similar one at Woolloongabba Antiques? Lovely to see you back blogging! Cx
ReplyDeleteOr if you want to try your hand at some serious DIYing, find a ordinary cupboard you really like, cut the wood panelling out, get a handy man to put in some glass and paint it yourself.... X
ReplyDeleteWhenever I'm on the search for something is when I don't find it! You'll get the perfect one when you least expect it!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the advice, going to try DIYing it like you say Rebecca!
